Linda has lived and worked in Devon since 1978. She worked in the Careers Service until 1995 where she was, latterly, County Careers Advisor for Special Needs and an Area Manager.
Since leaving, Linda has worked as a partner in a small research and consultancy service, been a member of the National Gas Consumer Council, a Non-executive Director of Exeter & District Community Health Trust and subsequently Devon Partnership NHS Trust. For 7 years, Linda was a volunteer with Exeter Age Concern's 'Senior Voice' project.
Linda has been a Magistrate since 1997.
