Who We Are - Monitoring Information - Members

Every year all Members and Officers are asked to complete an anonymous monitoring form. The results of these forms are collated and published on our website, under 'Who We Are'. The data is published for Members and Officers separately.

This year we have used some new phraseology and some new questions. This update is in line with the Equality Act 2011 and best practice regarding the inclusivity of language. The data in this report is correct as of the 20 December 2011.

Religion / Belief. No answer 44%, Christian 28%, No religion 28%

Marriage / Civil Partnership. No answer 44%, Prefer not to say 6%, Married 50%

NB: Marriage is defined as a ‘union between a man and a woman’. Same – sex couples can have their relationship legally recognised as ‘civil partnerships’. Civil partners must be treated the same as married couples on a wide range of legal matters.

Gender Identity same as at birth. No answer 44%, 56% Yes.
