A meeting of the Devon and Cornwall Police Authority will be held on Friday 26 June 2009, 10:00 in the Amenity suite, Police Headquarters, Middlemoor Exeter to which you are requested to attend, to consider the items as detailed on the Agenda given below.
This meeting will be broadcast live on the Internet and recorded for future viewing.
Any papers listed as “to follow”, urgent items or supplementary papers will be made available as soon as possible and in any event at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

Summarises the performance activity of the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary to meet targets set by the Authority in its Annual Plan and uses iQuanta to benchmark with most similar forces. - Statement of Accounts for Year ending 31st March 2009
Statutory Accounts for approval. These re -present the financial outturn results into the required format for publication and audit to comply with statutory regulations and accounting practice. - Authority Meeting Dates
Report for Members to note the remaining Police Authority and Seminar dates in 2009 and recommends the dates for Police Authority Meetings in 2010 and the first meeting in 2011. - Standards Board Return
Report recommending that the content of the annual return to the Standards Board for England be noted. - Members’ Complaints Procedure
The draft Member Complaints Procedure is presented for approval. The Corporate Governance Committee has already considered the procedure and recommends it for adoption. - Police Authority Treasurer
Report proposing a process for identifying and recruiting a Police Authority Treasurer. Report to follow. - Membership Of Committees, Working Groups, Task And Finish Groups And Lead Member Roles
Requests delegated authority to agree Committee Memberships for the forthcoming year. - Committee Minute Pack

To agree succession planning arrangements for Chief Officer appointments should a situation arise. Report to follow. - Forfeiture of Police Pensions
Under police pension regulations, in certain circumstances, a police authority may determine forfeiture of a police officer's pension where that officer has been convicted of a serious offence.
This item will suggest a process to deal with these circumstances and seek the Authority’s approval to commence such proceedings against two former officers. Report to follow
