This paper lays out the forward capital plan needed to support the emerging Force plans and the agreed ICT Strategy programme. It includes some amendments to the forward capital plan to accelerate the upgrade of parts of the ICT infrastructure. - Current Suitability of the Force’s Public Protection Units
The purpose of a report is to advise on the current condition and suitability of the Public Protection Units (PPUs) within the Force. - Forensic Services Collaboration
This report is presented to set out the potential benefits of the Forensic Services collaboration initiative as previously discussed by Resources Committee on 18 June 2007. - Development of Immigration Investigation Unit
The Immigration Service is seeking to establish a network of Investigation Units across the country consisting of seconded police officers. The units will be tasked with achieving Immigration Service targets on detecting criminal offences involving foreign nationals. Recommends that the Authority support the establishment of an Immigration Investigation Unit by permitting the secondment of officers to the Immigration Service.
