A meeting of the Performance Management Committee, to which you are requested to attend, will be held on Tuesday 27 November 2007 at 1000hrs in the Conference Room, Devon and Cornwall Police Authority, Endeavour House, Woodwater Park, Exeter, to consider the items as detailed on the Agenda given below.

To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 18 September 2007 as a correct record. - Performance against the Annual Policing Plan (Targets)
This briefing provides details of the Force’s performance against the Annual Policing Plan Targets. This will include an analysis of mid-year performance and forecast year-end results. - HMIC Phase 1 Report
A report to detail the findings from the HMIC’s inspection published in October, and subsequent action plan for improvement. - NCRS/ NSIR Update
Lynne Dunn, Lead Member for the National Crime Recording Standard (NCRS) and National Standard of Incident Recording (NSIR), will provide a short update on the recent work undertaken in her role. - Target Setting 2008/9 and 2008/11
The proposals for agreeing 3-year performance targets for the Force and establishing milestones to assess annual progress to meet them. - Update on Police Authority Performance Management Priorities
A review of the performance priorities agreed for the Authority in May this year. The paper suggest the current situation for each area and proposes the way forward against each priority. Report to follow. - Committee Delegated Powers
Work is progressing to develop a constitution for the Police Authority. As part of this process, Members are asked to consider which delegated powers the Performance Management Committee should hold, for recommendation to the Police Authority.
