To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 27 January 2005 as a correct record. - Police Authority Human Resources Policies
This item was deferred from the meeting on 27 January 2005, all the relevant policies were circulated with the Agenda for that meeting. In order to meet legislative requirements, best practice as an employer, and the needs of the revised Police Authority organisation structure, it is necessary to consider compiling and implementing a series of HR policies. The Committee is asked to approve the policies attached to the report. - Job Evaluation
This will be an oral update providing information about the job evaluation process which is being undertaken for Police Staff. - Human Resources Improvement Plan
An oral report regarding the Human Resources Improvement Plan which will include details of the processes undertaken when setting priorities. - HMIC Training Review Best Practice
An oral update will be given on the implementation of the HMIC recommendations. - Costed

All Forces are required to produce a Force Training Plan, which is costed, and to provide this to the Home Office and HMIC. The plan should aim to capture all training delivered by or on behalf of the Force.
