A meeting of the Corporate Governance Committee which you are requested to attend will be held on Wednesday 30 April 2008 at 10.00hrs in the Conference Room, Devon & Cornwall Police Authority, Endeavour House, Woodwater Park, Exeter to consider the items as detailed on the Agenda given below.

Recommendations
That the committee consider the draft Financial Regulations and recommends to the Authority that they be adopted and included within the Authority’s constitution.
- The Corporate Governance Committee received a paper on the 4 March setting out the need to update Financial Regulations. A draft of the Financial Regulations has now been produced. This is a shorter document than the previous regulations. For ease of use the key controls contained within the current regulation have been extracted and are now contained within a key controls document that will be maintained by the Chief Constable in consultation with the Treasurer.
