A report for members to note the changes proposed to the Independent Custody Visitor’s Expenses Scheme. - Commitment to Children & Young People
On 5 August several members from the Police Authority met to discuss our obligations to safeguard, protect and promote the well-being of Children and Young People as defined by the Children’s Act 2004. An action plan has been agreed to outline how the Police Authority can best monitor, scrutinise, challenge and support the Force within the Children & Young People’s business area and in the fulfilment of its own duties under the Children’s Act. Some of the actions have a strategic impact and as such would benefit from advice and endorsement by the Chairs’ Committee. - Amendments to the Police Pensions Regulations

Update in respect of the Force 2012 Change Programme which includes a summary report covering the updated Programme Business Case and a Programme milestone plan indicating. - Sensitive Cases – Proposal for Enhanced Communication and Transparency
Report of the Deputy Chief Constable proposing a method for how the Force can inform the Authority of any sensitive issues that arise. - Risk Register
To consider all risks allocated to the Chairs Committee and make recommendations to the Risk Review Group of any suggested changes.
